Listen and read Barack Obama’s victory speech in full or some bits in the New York Times
Write a brief comment about it:
- Was it easy to understand?
- Your personal opinion about the USA elections
- …
Hi pepa!
I wath a part of the video, it’s not easy, but I undertand some things!
Good afternoon Pepa!
I understand more or less the video.
At the beginning, Obama talks about the people of USA without matter the age, sex, political preferences, sexual preferences… and says that the change has come to America.
Then, he talks about his family: his wife (the first black woman in the Withe House), his daughters (he has bought them a puppy), his grandmother, his sisters…
Also, he talks about a woman, she is 106 years old and she has gone seeing the change of USA, now she can vote.
At the end, Obama talks about his ideals: democracy, opportunity…
In my opinion, I think that Obama will be a good president and I like the results, because he seems a competent man.
Hi Pepa !!!
I’m sorry, but I haven’t time to anwer these questions.
The Obama’s Victory Speech is easy to read and to
understand. The only difference is the dialect. We
learn the English of the United Kingdom, however Obama speaks American English.
In my opinion, Obama will be a great president of the United States. The first black president who, next to the aid of the other countries, removed to us from the economic crisis. He will end with the racism and put an end to Ku Klux Klan attacks.
Barack Obama ans his Democratic Party have a long way to cross, with bigs ups and downs, but with clear intentions: To do, of this our world, a world better.
I hope that you like it
See you soon
Bye, bye !!!!!!!!!!
